I’m a remote site paramedic and instructor. My passions include austere medicine, cooking, data visualization, disruptive humanitarian methods, and getting to explore new places.
Some of my past work has taken me to a Syrian refugee camp in Greece, the Canadian Rockies with The Discovery Channel, Kurdistan as a trainer for the Peshmerga, Iraq as a Trauma Stabilization Point medic during the fight against Daesh, the Bering Sea as a Vessel Medical Officer for a large commercial fishing vessel, a regional hospital in Tanzania, conflict zones in Eastern Europe, rural Guyana, a refugee camp in Northern Mexico, supporting journalism in Southern Mexico and Guatemala, and locations within the United States to train US Army Special Forces.
